The places we love deserve to be told beautifully.
Dedication
This issue is lovingly dedicated to my mum, Charlotte, and to the lovely Diana, for the laughter that fills our days, the strength that anchors every chapter, and the love that makes every sunlit day worth celebrating.
Dear Friends,
As this issue of City to Coast Magazine reaches you, I want to begin with a sincere thank you. The response to our recent issues has been extraordinary, your encouragement, feedback, and shared enthusiasm reminded me why this magazine matters. To every reader, partner, contributor, and neighbor who reached out: thank you for believing in this work and for carrying its spirit forward.
There is something fitting about telling these stories through a regional magazine, because the story of any place has always been, at its heart, a story of towns and neighborhoods, of the homes we return to and the people who make them worth celebrating.
City to Coast was born out of a love for storytelling, a passion for real estate, and a deep appreciation for the towns and neighborhoods that make life so rich in character and charm. From quiet streets and vibrant downtowns to tucked-away coastal retreats, our region is full of personality and promise, and it feels especially meaningful to celebrate the local character that makes our own corner of it extraordinary.
This work is also shaped by service. Alongside publishing, I am proud to serve as an AmeriCorps member through Spur Impact, supporting nonprofit engagement and community-driven initiatives across Delaware. That commitment lives inside every page of City to Coast, a belief that a regional magazine should not only celebrate the places we love, but actively strengthen them.
As part of our summer-close advertising campaign, City to Coast will donate five percent of every new advertising partnership to the Wilmington VA Medical Center, honoring the veterans and families who have given so much to the communities we call home.
Whether you are navigating the housing market, planning a move, or simply drawn to the stories that connect us to home and place, City to Coast is your companion in the journey. It is a love letter to the life we build between city streets and coastal calm.
It is also my great honor to continue celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Society Media, our parent brand and the creative home from which City to Coast was born. A quarter century on, the lesson is the same: it is community that endures. I am profoundly grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey.
With gratitude,
